Let There Be Light

In a discussion that touches on topics from architecture to physics to neuroscience, researchers explore how buildings can become energy efficient and healthy for humans using natural light. 

On Tuesday, February 16, 2010, at swissnex San Francisco, renowned professor Jean-Louis Scartezzini and Mirjam Münch, from the Solar Energy and Building Physics Laboratory at EPFL, along with Marilyne Andersen, associate professor in the Building Technology Program at MIT’s Department of Architecture, describe their experiments with daylighting technology. Learn how they're bringing natural light deep into buildings to increase human well-being and how their work provides new ways of integrating daylight into building science and architecture.
