Returning to his native Switzerland in 1986, he rejoined the Kudelski Group in the role of Pay TV Product Manager and began a steady rise to the top of the firm. A key player at the Kudelski Group since then, André Kudelski later became Director of Nagravision SA, where he focused on the development and promotion of conditional access systems for satellite and cable television. Owing to his performance as head of Nagravision SA, he eventually took over as Chairman, President, and CEO of the parent company, succeeding his father in 1991. Since then, he has served as the driving force behind all activities at the Kudelski Group, which include subsidiaries in digital television, physical security and access systems and audio.

A pioneering figure in the world of television, audio, and digital communications, André Kudelski serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board at Kudelski Group in Lausanne, Switzerland. The son of Polish-born audio engineer and executive Stefan Kudelski, André Kudelski gained an early appreciation for technological innovation through his father, the inventor of industry-standard Nagra audio recorders. André Kudelski graduated in physical engineering from Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL). In 1984, he entered the field as an R&D Engineer for Kudelski Group, where he laid the professional foundations for his career. He later relocated to the United States to join a technology firm in California’s Silicon Valley.
