Six months have come and gone since Oliver Stanek arrived at swissnex San Francisco for a work exchange. Stanek is a Project Manager in the Human Capital Group at Credit Suisse in Zurich, Switzerland. At swissnex, among his many research projects and hands-on activities, he helped us lead the global network of Swiss Science and Technology Counselors in the use of a new email marketing tool for sending newsletters, improving worldwide communications. Good luck Oliver, and thank you!
Our IT desk won’t be collecting dust. Marco Solombrino is an IT Project Manager for Credit Suisse and part of an engineering team that implements document management solutions for the Global Print Center. He joins us for a six-month exchange, continuing our collaboration with the financial services company.

Fabio Magagna is Ph.D. student at ETH Zurich studying information systems. His research addresses buddy sourcing, the spreading of information across social networks. “It’s kind of a combination of crowd-sourcing and word-of-mouth,” he says. Magagna is also a Junior Project Manager at swissnex San Francisco this summer, working with Gioia Deucher and our entrepreneurship desk.
