swissnex on the go

18 Mar 2010

The swissnex San Francisco mission to connect the dots requires that we travel to Switzerland, yes. But to stay engaged globally in our core fields of science, education, art, and innovation, we also need to stay connected to the rest of the world. So, when we aren’t busy in our downtown San Francisco office hosting visitors, organizing public events, facilitating collaboration, and more, we’re active around the globe.

In February, for example, our innovation expert, Birgit Colemen, who heads up the Nestle Innovation Partnerships desk at swissnex San Francisco, traveled to Amsterdam in the Netherlands to speak on Nestle’s behalf at the Front End of Innovation conference (FEI 2010).

That same month, swissnex San Francisco’s communications team attended the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Annual Meeting in San Diego, California, to meet with scientists and the national and international press, and to attend symposia on topics from neuroscience to climate change to crowd dynamics to visualizing science.

See video highlights of our trip to AAAS and view Birgit Coleman’s talk below.
